Newsletter Grants
Community groups and individuals are again invited to apply for grant funding from Kinross Community Council Newsletter Ltd charitable company (KCCNL). This is the fund that has built up over the years from profits made by the Kinross Newsletter.
Deadlines for applications are 30 September and 31 March.

  Girl Guiding in Your Area.
Volunteer with girl guiding and help make a difference to the lives of girls. Be an inspiration for girls and young women and help them realise their full potential and share some unforgettable moments along the way. Family week 2021
Jungle Adventure
The annual family week based at Kinross Parish Church will be held this year on 2-6 August and is called "Jungle Adventure".
Family Week is for children and young people age 3 up to S6. Details can be found by followint the Kinross Parish Church Facebook page.

Anniversary image 100th Birthday and Diamond Wedding Anniversaries. Do you know anyone about to celebrate their 100th/105th birthday or a couple celebrating their 60th, 65th or 70th Wedding Anniversary? Kinross-shire Partnership Trail Scooters
can now be booked twice daily from Loch Leven’s Larder.
We have a Morning Slot and Afternoon Slot:
AM session (9am return by 12 noon)
PM session (1pm return by 4pm)
Anyone wishing to book the Trail Scooters must book in advance by contacting Loch Leven’s Larder on 01592 841000.

UPDATE

The visitor centre is currently closed for improvement works until the end of August. However, hides, trails and toilets are open with some car parking available for visitors. Organic coffee along with other drinks and snacks are available to take-away and a pop-up shop in the car park is selling a selection of items including bird food. THE LIGHTHOUSE MENTAL HEALTH OUTREACH

The Lighthouse is excited to announce our new outreach project at Kinross High School.
Our youth mental health outreach is available to every young person in Kinross-shire from 12-4pm every Monday. For full details see the leaflet

Who are we?
Broke Not Broken is a local charity based in Kinross-shire dedicated to tackling the effects of poverty. We run the local food bank as well as other community projects. We work with referral agents to make sure you get all the support that you need.

Meal Makers Do you know someone who is over, 55, alone, and who would appreciate having a meal cooked for them occasionally?
Several people have now registered to provide meals in the Kinross-shire area.
Diners can sign up themselves or be referred by a family member, friend, social services or any statutory organisation. Even if they are receiving support from another organization they can have meal makers too.
