Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator

12 hours per week over 3 mornings
Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

Duties include:

Purchase ledger ensuring invoices and delivery notes match, credit notes are received, payments are made to suppliers in line with agreed terms
Sales Ledger ensuring invoices are raised correctly and issued on time, and managing credit control procedures.
Cash Book / Petty Cash reconciling daily takings between cash and card transactions and preparing daily banking. Responsible for petty cash in and out, and writing up the cash book
Processing all the above through Sage Accounts in line with company processes
Occasional processing of the payroll to cover absences
Any other duties relevant to the accounts / finance operations of the business


Person Specification:

Experience using Sage 50 Accounts or similar accounting software is essential
Experience using Sage 50 Payroll would be advantageous
Ideally hold a qualification in accounting or bookkeeping, but not essential depending on previous experience
Cash handling experience useful
Experience using internet banking useful
Reliable, honest, trustworthy positive references will be required
